Pro Tour Team Radioshacks chooses Biknd's Helium Bike Case.
When ProTour cycling team Team Radioshack has to transport its riders’ bikes from race to race, they use the Canadian Biknd Helium Travel Case. It was chosen by the U.S-based team featuring riders such as Lance Armstrong, Jani Brajkovic, Chris Horner, Andreas Klöden and Levi Leipheimer as its official bicycle travel case for the 2011 season.
Team Radioshack will use the cases to transport its road and time trial bikes while outside of the United States . The team’s mechanics like the Biknd design because it allows the bikes to be well-protected during flights and while being moved around at the airport.
What makes the Helium cases so good is their unique air-padded design. Protection for the bicycles comes in the way of inflatable padded sections, as well as strategically-positioned rigid reinforcements. A combination of 360-degree access to the bag's contents and the fact a bike can be packed in the case with only minor disassembly makes transport easier than ever. When the case is not in use, the bladders deflate allowing the Helium to fold up for easy storage. The revolutionary design uses lightweight material, allowing it to weigh just 10 kg when empty, which is important now that airlines are being strict with their weight restrictions.
Biknd is proud to have been chosen as a partner with the Team Radioshack ProTour cycling team. Team Radioshack prides itself on giving its riders the best in sports science and technology and Biknd share's the same philosophy and principles.
The Biknd Helium Travel Case is available for purchase worldwide. For more information on the Helium, visit www.biknd.com and for more information on the Team Radioshack squad www.teamradioshack.com
